Andrew Bittner

Andrew Bittner: Is the active CEO and Founder of GCA. He is dedicated to developing creative and meaningful sustainable solutions for communities. Andrew focuses on projects that are of special interest to the client and tell the story of sustainability that is both financially feasible, and energy conscious. He likes to be a part of the process in many ways both onsite and in the background fighting for better incentives and sharing the joyous and freeing story of sustainability, and the connection of all things. Andrew is nationally recognized as the pioneer of the groundbreaking "holistic guaranteed energy savings insurance policy." This innovative model utilizes integrated energy engineering and financial analytics to transform energy from an expense into a valuable financial asset. By partnering with major financial institutions, Andrew helped normalize proactive investment in energy infrastructure upgrades. Prior to founding GCA, Andrew served as the Executive Director of the Ohio Energy Program, a non-profit educating public entities on capturing energy savings and incentives. He also owned and operated Custom LED Systems, a U.S. based manufacturer of high-efficiency LED lighting systems. He successfully exited in his twenties, enabling him to work in the non-profit space until he found his deep passion for sustainability as a whole. A sought-after speaker on sustainable communities and decentralized infrastructure, Andrew is a true thought leader. His insights on innovative project financing models have been instrumental in lowering barriers for communities to access renewable energy, water management, housing, and other critical infrastructure needs. Bittner also founded an Energy Audit business, managing a team of Energy Engineers for the DRG3 program in the Dayton, OH area. He also founded one of the first energy deregulation companies in the state of Ohio, and wrote more than 3500 contracts managing teams in both the commercial and residential space before successfully exiting the company. He also has financial experience as a Registered Representative and a Series 63 license through FINRA. He also worked in the insurance field for 4 years, where he excelled at personal finance, and health coverage. Bittner has over 16 years of experience in finance, business strategy, and the energy industry. Andrew's commitment to sustainability is deeply ingrained in his daily life. His work at GCA is the culmination of his passion for sustainable living and he envisions it as part of his legacy to guide communities towards owning as much of their basic needs infrastructure as possible locally and with intention.
